noddin my head like yeah

Greetings from Los Angeles - I've made it. And here's the view from my new bedroom window:

Here's my new city (smog and all):

Here's the beach where I hope to be surfing soon:

Here's me fulfilling a life-long dream of attending a taping of Conan. I was mildly excited:

Anyway, on to business.

I had the great pleasure of doing another behind-the-scenes video for one of Woodnote Photography's styled shoots. This one was in Stockholm, Sweden -- '40s-themed! -- and styled by Vintage Honeymoon. Total blast. The photos from that shoot should be surfacing in the coming weeks, so keep an eye on Woodnote's blog for those. For now, though, check out the video. Head over to Vimeo to watch it in HD!

This past June I had the opportunity to take a short-term trip to Guatemala with a group from my church. We worked with an organization called Potter's House, whose mission is to transform the lives of the 11,000+ people living and scavenging in the Guatemala City dump. The group that I went with had the specific task of running a kids camp for a few days. This not only gave the kids an opportunity to get out of the dump and get some fresh air, but also to be encouraged, have a bit of fun, and know they are loved.
